Willy Fux has been involved in mountain tourism for 27 years. He started his career in direct customer contact situations, then took different sales & marketing and management positions in mountain destinations (Les Arcs, St. Moritz, Tignes, Val d ’Isère, Flaine). He has worked for tour operators, tourism boards, a ski school and a specialist real estate developer. In 2009, Willy stepped out from in-resort operations to start LHM which conducts industry-specific market and consumer research. His clients include mountain resort operators, local and national tourism boards, tour operators, accommodation businesses and developers, as well as start-ups. He holds a master’s degree from the Chambéry business school and has been a guest lecturer in France (Université de Savoie, INSEEC Chambéry) as well as at MCI in Innsbruck.
